Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Katie's process involves extensive layering of colour and lines. Her subject matter often evokes a feeling of nostalgia from choice of subject matter to colour palate. Katie's work encourages the question, what are the small moments that define us? And expresses the emotions we feel behind these nostalgic references.
